Meet the Host

Whats good, my name is Linda Leudo, the host of Politician for Sport podcast. I teach History, Social Studies, and English Language Arts in NYC. With years of experience working in history and cultural institutions, it was only a matter of time before I created and curated my own society and culture podcast. My time both in college and working at these cultural and historical spaces was spent focusing on school programming and education—eventually involving myself in education missions and community outreach initiatives in New York City.

Looking back on these experiences, I felt that there weren’t many podcasts or shows with an emphasis on educating, engaging, and pushing dialogue for all genders, peoples, communities, demos, and ethnographies. Politician for Sport works to do that and then some—lending itself to support nonprofits and other social and criminal justice reform organizations whose aim is the same, manifesting equality in all its forms for BIPOC and anyone likeminded. Our conversations won’t be defined or limited by issues currently in the public discourse. So, I politic everything for sport…
